*Lush* Caca Rouge Henna Hair Dye
Recently I decided to ditch the peroxide and reach for the soothing Caca Rouge henna hair dye produced by Lush Cosmetics.
After a decade of stripping my natural hair colour I changed my ideal to smooth, soft natural hair. I decided to opt for auburn hair helped by Lush’s caring Caca Rouge.
It was very easy to use, although to be honest I hadn’t a clue what I was doing when preparing it as I accidentally rubbed off the instructions on my block of henna!
.I used three squares of the funny smelling henna bar broken up in a bain marie.
.To this I added a pint and a bit of boiling water and stirred until it became a smooth Nutella substance.
.On to dry hair I smoothed the henna and made sure all the underneath and back were covered.
.I then wrapped cling film three times around my hair and went to sleep.
.In the morning I washed it out – 2 shampoos and 2 conditioners, then left it to dry naturally.
This is the outcome…
(Please forgive the photograph clipping, this is the only photo of myself I have since dying my hair)
