Woodstock and Jimmy Hendrix inspire disco brights, craft embellishment and tough girl biker jacket styling.
I freakin’ love Peter Pilotto’s SS15 collection. There’s so much going on in this fabulous fruit salad mix that I was left completely captivated and head over heels in love from the first look. Braiding, sequins, texture, layering, colour, stripes, fringe….the list goes on.

Everybody adores Kate. It’s true. For me it’s because she’s such a babe, oh and I had a make-up artist once who told me she had done Kate’s make-up a few times and she was really lovely and down to earth. So here are a handful of awesome snaps of that brit girl Kate.

Hurrah! My green satchel has arrived. That means today is a really good day.
I received the classic style satchel in 15 inches from The Cambridge Satchel Company: http://goo.gl/q9jC0A This is the perfect size for carrying a laptop, a few bits of make-up, mobile phone, notepad and laptop charger. I’ve always loved green and gold as a duo so after deciding on the green leather I chose the gold heart and LW embossing.
My bright and bold beauty!
Green is one of this year’s hottest colours due to the 1970s having a massive comeback.
On the occasion of Blondie’s 40th anniversary, Somerset House is showcasing a series of iconic and previously unpublished photographs by Chris Stein, co-founder of Blondie, providing a behind the scenes look on life in the trailblazing band, from their underground early days to global sell-out shows and chart domination. Blondie and other icons of the 70s and 80s new wave world, including Andy Warhol, David Bowie and The Ramones, are captured intimately and inimitably by Stein. Featuring over 50 images, the exhibition serves as a snapshot of the punk scene that Blondie pioneered and shows how their influence on music and fashion is just as relevant today as it was four decades ago.
Vintage clothing has always played a massive part in my wardrobe and my boyfriend’s. That’s why on Sundays we venture to Brick Lane for vintage shopping, a pint of Guinness and a feed in the indoor food market.
On Sunday, whilst browsing the rainbow of retro shoes in Absolute Vintage (www.absolutevintage.co.uk) a pair of shoes caught my eye and instantly transported me back to being five years old, hopping round my mum’s bedroom in her 1980s floral M&S heels. I purchased them and spent Sunday evening hopping round my bedroom in my new 1980s floral M&S heels.
I told mum about the shoes and she got her ones out of the attic and has started wearing them again! They are exactly the same. What a fab vintage find. They’re super comfy and have been getting lots of admiring compliments since.
