The one item I cannot leave the house without is lip balm. As make up bags go, lip salves and balms have always played a leading role in mine. I am a huge believer in that if you care for your body it will care for your appearance in return, this is why I always try to keep my skin hydrated.
Carmex recently added a new range of lip balms to it’s collection, under the name of Moisture Plus. One sweep of this balm will leave your lips hydrated and glossy for hours, with a dash of whichever colour way you choose. I’ve chosen pink and it shows up as a sweet candy shine. Lipsticks can be quite drying so the clear option is great for when you are wearing your own lipstick but want moisture and hydration at the same time throughout the day.
Models Own is my all time favourite nail polish brand. Every time I wear Models Own complements by the bucket load float in my direction. For the Christmas season I decided to try Scarlet Sparkle and as I expected it was a huge success!
From au naturale I bullied my sister in to painting my nails Scarlet Sparkle. After seeing it on she then applied it to her own nails… I was holding on to the bottle with a tight grip for the rest of the afternoon!
Since wearing this shade, my dark and rainy London days have brightened up immensely. Clients continuously adore Scarlet Sparkle and I have hooked lots of girlfriends on to Models Own!
I feel like Dorothy with her ruby red sparkly slippers…

The ultimate contemporary beauty icon, Lauren Goodger has kicked party make-up up a notch with her false lashes. Her beauty label – Lauren’s Way offers the two must-haves for winter glamour: fake tan and false lashes.
Miss Goodger has always been somebody I’ve admired for looking fresh faced and up to date…it doesn’t help that she’s also naturally stunning! Grrrr! Similarly to Lauren I like to glam up my make up when it’s time to hit the cold streets of London for a night out. So I thought it would be a great idea to try her fab false lashes.
Once on they were a tiny bit too long for the length of my eye so I trimmed them a little bit. After a swift snip and curl they looked great! I drew a line of black eyeliner to hide the edge of the lashes and then blended in some charcoal eyeshadow to create a sixties Bridget Bardot effect. Throughout the night they stayed on and were easy to peel off when I got home. Although I loved them the one thing I would say is that it was lucky I has some eyelash glue to hand as they didn’t come with any. Apart from this I really recommend them!
